Today, the Traffic Movie Director Rajesh Pillai’s dream has come true with great success; even if he is not with us now. ‘Take Off’, the Malayalam thriller movie has succeeded in winning the applause of the audience. The Editor turned director Mahesh Narayanan’s first venture has really got the nerves of the box office. The movie is based on the Air Evacuation of 19 Indian Nurses from Iraq in 2014, followed by the U.S attacks. It has a big star cast including Fahad Fazil, Kunchacko Boban, Asif Ali and Parvathy Menon. The leading cast had acted in it without remuneration to pay tribute to Rajesh Pillai. Parvathy has handled the character of Sameera, who is a nurse and a divorcee. Later she married with a male nurse (Kunchacko Boban), who had worked with her. To fulfill the dreams, both goes to Iraq. But the destiny crushes their dreams and they are being forced to evacuate. This evacuation and concerned events are framed in a spectacular way, through the script and the visual magic. Here, as a Director, Mahesh Narayanan has excelled his professionalism at its peak. Asif Ali has taken the role of an ex-husband, Fahad as the Embassy Officer. In a whole, Parvathy has bagged the crown of the movie. Same as the traffic, ‘Take off’ has won in forbidding the audience from leaning back till the climax. So on the balance sheet, ‘Take off’ comes as a must watch movie. Kudos to the entire crew.
