Pa.va the short form of two names can be defined as about Pappan and about Varkky, the film conveys a message of true sincere love never ends. The director Sooraj Tom proves every relationship have the dominance and whatever be the age over, it never affects to real love and friendship. The manly actor Murali Gopi performs the character of Pappan and Anoop Menon holds the character of Varkky.
The film moves through the background of central Travancore Christian families and the main characterizations are threaded with two intimate friends nearing their age to eighties. They’re Pappan and Varkky and undoubted the movie will be the mile stones in the acting career of Murali Gopi and Anoop Menon. Pappan and Varkky are the two friends living in a place Murakkal, and their intimacy can be say as two bodies and one soul. Their father’s were friends, and they’re joining together especially in the festival occasions of Murakkal Ferona Church.
In a particular juncture Varkkey has joined in Indian Military service, and while Pappan entered aging thirty, his family was experiencing the bitterness of poverty. Agriculture is their only income source, and the family being forced isolated after the death of Pappen’s mother and father in recent land slip and natural calamity.
Pappan has six sisters and they found very difficult to survive and they migrated to a hilly village. They strived a lot, worked hardly and fought with the earth and they cultivated, reaped the harvest and the family became better without starving. They enjoyed the result of hard work and dedication on earth, their life became prosperous. The elder sister Agnus joined the convent and became a nun and the other sisters have married to good positions.
They owned hospitals, petrol pumps and hotels and they enjoyed a well-off life style. Pappan fulfilled all his ambitions and responsibilities. But, Pappan stayed, away aloof without a family life. But, though Pappan was single and even not married and living without own family, he never likes thinking the same and to spoil life and he was satisfied leading a single life. He tried to keeps happiness in his present life.
They were joined together in Murikkal Ferona Church celebrations, wherever they may be, whether anywhere in the world – they’ll come and would join together in the same church festival. The Church celebrations.
